When Exile Becomes a Lesson (Homily: November 24, 2025)

Today’s readings place us in two different rooms: the exile of Daniel and the quiet corner of the Temple where a widow offers two small coins. Both spaces reveal the same truth. God forms faithful hearts in unfamiliar places. Daniel learns trust when everything familiar is stripped away. The widow shows us that relationship with God is deeper than resources.

One line to carry into the week: “Some reach for complaints. Some reach for escape. But saints reach for God.”
